The Fixt Drywall Screw 3.5 x 60 is a heavy-duty, extended-length plasterboard fixing designed for deep timber engagement and demanding interior construction applications. Built for strength and reliability, it ensures secure, long-lasting performance where extra reach is required.
Product Features/Specifications:
Size: 3.5mm x 60mm
Quantity: Box of 500
Hardened carbon steel construction
Black phosphate coating for corrosion resistance and smooth driving
Fine-thread design for strong plasterboard grip
Bugle head for flush, clean finish
Sharp self-tapping point for fast, accurate installation
Detailed Product Benefits:
The Fixt Drywall Screw 3.5 x 60 is engineered for deep fixing applications where maximum penetration and holding strength are essential. Its fine-thread profile delivers a secure grip into timber framing while maintaining the integrity of the plasterboard surface. The bugle head ensures a clean, flush finish without tearing the board face, and the sharp self-tapping tip enables fast, controlled entry, reducing installation time and eliminating the need for pre-drilling in most cases.
Applications and Versatility:
Ideal for heavy-duty interior drywall applications, including:
Fixing plasterboard to deep timber stud walls
Double-layer plasterboard installations
Drywall ceilings and partition systems
Interior lining and refurbishment projects
Drylining and commercial fit-out work requiring long fixings
Suitable for plasterboard and compatible timber or light gauge metal framing systems.
