Cromar® Roofing Felt Adhesive 5L
Cromar® Roofing Felt Adhesive 5L is a professional-grade, cold-applied bituminous adhesive designed for strong, reliable bonding of roofing felt and bitumen-based membranes. Supplied in a larger 5-litre format, it is ideal for medium to large roofing projects where consistent performance and extended coverage are required.
Product Features/Specifications:
Manufactured by Cromar®, this roofing felt adhesive delivers dependable adhesion with a smooth, workable consistency that allows for easy application across large roof areas. It is formulated for cold application, removing the need for heat and making it a safer, more convenient option for roofing installations and repairs. The product is designed to maintain strong bonding performance across a range of common roofing substrates while providing long-lasting protection against weather exposure.
Detailed Product Benefits:
Cromar® Roofing Felt Adhesive enhances roofing efficiency by offering a ready-to-use solution that reduces installation time and eliminates the risks associated with hot-applied systems. Its strong initial grab ensures roofing felt stays firmly in place during application, while its durable cured state provides long-term resistance to wind, rain, and temperature fluctuations. The adhesive remains flexible after drying, helping to accommodate natural structural movement and preventing cracking or bond failure over time. The 5L size offers excellent value for larger jobs, reducing the need for frequent reapplication or multiple containers on site.
Applications and Versatility:
This adhesive is ideal for fixing roofing felt to timber decking, concrete substrates, and existing bituminous surfaces. It is commonly used in flat roof systems, garages, sheds, extensions, and commercial roofing maintenance. Suitable for both full-surface adhesion and patch repairs, it provides a versatile solution for contractors and DIY users working on waterproofing and roofing projects of varying scale.
