Polyglass MODIBOND Black Finish Mineral Felt is a high-performance roofing felt that serves as a prefabricated PLASTOMERIC membrane. Offering superior durability and reliability, it provides outstanding protection for your roofing projects.
Product Features/Specifications:
Manufactured using a unique compound with a high percentage of polymer, this membrane is based on distilled bitumen modified with specialized polymers, ensuring excellent plastomeric characteristics. The robust carrier material delivers exceptional tensile strength (in all directions) and puncture resistance, coupled with remarkable dimensional stability.

Featuring a polyester staple-fibre nonwoven carrier reinforced and stabilized with glass strands aligned in the machine direction, this roofing felt is designed to deliver long-lasting performance. Applications and Versatility:
Polyglass MODIBOND Black Finish Mineral Felt offers excellent flexibility at temperatures as low as -10°C. It is ideal for use in MULTI-PLY ROOF systems, both in EXPOSED and BALLASTED waterproofing applications. This product is suitable as a BASE LAYER or CAP SHEET, providing versatility and adaptability across a wide range of roofing applications.

- The mineral-surfaced version is coated with natural or coloured ceramic-coated slate chippings in varying sizes, adding both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
- Over time, the colour tones of the mineral surface may vary; however, exposure to atmospheric agents will eventually standardize the colour, creating a uniform appearance.
- The underside of the membrane is protected with a standard heat-fusible polyethylene film, offering enhanced durability and ease of application.

Delivery Information
We offer FREE local delivery on all orders over £120.00 (£100.00 excluding vat). For all other orders a £15.00 + VAT local delivery charge will apply. We deliver within a 15 mile radius of our depot.
We aim to deliver stocked items usually within 2-3 working days but in busier periods this can sometimes take longer. On receipt of your order we will contact you as soon as possible to advise an intended delivery date, should this delivery date be inconvenient then we will try our best to accommodate a suitable delivery date.
Click & Collect Information
Orders can also be collected from either of our depots. We will contact you by phone or email when your order is ready for collection.
We aim to process your order and have goods ready for collection within the same working day (stocked items only) on all orders placed before 1pm, orders after 1pm will be ready the following working day. In the event of your ordered items being out of stock we will contact you with an estimated lead time on your order.
